Meyer Hot Shot Broadcast Spreaders

The Meyer Hotshot, Hotshot HD, and Hotshot 100HD are compact, tough and built to handle the extreme temperatures, moisture, and corrosive materials typically found in year-round grounds maintennance use. All Meyer Hotshot models are specifically designed for Topdress Sand, Icemelt, Limestone and Fertilizer applications.

Meyer Hotshots feature large, heavy duty Nylatron GS (Teflon impregnated and greaseless) gears for superior durability and a quick release gear cover for easy servicing. The axle and wheel bearings/bushings provide self-lubrication with excellent wear and load carrying performance. The Hotshot and Hotshot HD have a 1.3 cubic foot polypropylene hopper with a 70# capacity which converts up to 1-1/2 bags of fertilizer/icemelt. The Hotshot 100HD has 1.8 cubic floor polypropylene hopper with a 100# capacity which converts up to two bags of fertilizer/Icemelt. All models come standard with a fitted, see-through cover to keep the weather out and the material in.

Hotshot Internal Top Screen
Many customers require sifting (screening) of the material prior to filling the hopper in order to break-up clumps which can cause damage to the auger and reduce performance. Meyer’s Hotshots come standard with internal spreader screens for all models. Replaceable screens come as per each, are easily installed and come with instructions for quick and easy installation.

Hotshot Salt Deflector Shield
Meyer knows that ice and snow accumulate on sidewalks, walkways, etc. and salt and chemicals must be placed precisely on these walkways, driveways etc., as salt/chemicals can cause damage to grass, shrubs etc. The Salt Shield/Deflector allows the operator/user to place salt exactly where it needs to go without damaging expensive landscaping. Deflectors come as per each, are easily installed.

Weather Cover/Shower Cap
This custom fitted see-through weather cap snugly fits on the Hotshot hoppers providing maximum protection from the elements (ice, snow, rain, sleet) keeping your materials dry and free flowing.

Gear-assisted axle with self-lubricating bearings and bushings
Pushing a fully-loaded spreader over snow and ice or uneven terrain can be frustrating. With the Meyer Hotshot, you’ll glide over the toughest surfaces because Hotshots have pneumatic tires driven by a gear-assisted axle with self-lubricating bearings/bushings. Made out of heavy-duty Nylatron GS impregnated with Teflon,® the greaseless gears are smooth as silk.

Meyer Hot Shot 50 Drop Spreader

The Meyer Hotshot-50 drop spreader is perfect for placing any kind of dry, free-flowing ice melt material exactly where you need it while protecting landscaping and other delicate areas. The 20-inch spread width makes quick work of ice and snow on narrow walkways or paths. The infinitely adjustable rate control and spring loaded on/off switch allows you to drop just the right amount of material.
