Framework of W-W Palpation Cages are fabricated from 1 1/2 standard pipe with all joints saddle cut for extra strength. Cage gates mount 60″ high in frame and are fabricated from 2″ 14-gauge high tensile steel tubing with 50,000 PSI yield strength. Gates mount on frame with 2″ standard pipe hinges and retaining collars and come equipped with spring loaded plunger latches and special formed steel strike plates. Gates are designed for positive locking in both cross alley and closed positions.

Designed for maximum operator safety, the W-W Maternity Pen allows for effective control of the cow. The “split” gate facilitates many functions including calving, nursing, or the occasional caesarian.

Now the vet won’t bulk at pulling a calf when you have a W-W Maternity Pen instead of a sturdy ole’ post and lariat.

The chute framework is constructed of 1 1/2″ x 14 gauge round tubing with 14 gauge sheet metal covering the lower half of the sides and front. The overall dimensions are 89″ long x 34″ wide x 60″ tall with tapered sides to reduce the lower width to 17 1/2″. The release mechanism is a hand operated, spring loaded, tie-rod pivot assembly that automatically locks in the open position to prevent backswing of the front exit gates once the animal is released.

The W-W Roping Chute Extension pins directly to the rear of the chute and includes the same slideout tailgate as featured on the roping chute. The W-W arrow pens allow for one man to operate the pens, without hotshots or prods, while presorting the stock for entry into the roping chute.

The framework is constructed of 2″ Schedule 40 pipe and the gates and backpanel are constructed from 2 1/4″ x 13 gauge and 1.315 x 13 gauge round tubing with 14 gauge sheet metal covering on lower 2′ of gate and four interior spaces. The catwalk is constructed from 2″ x 13 gauge tubing and 3/4″ exterior plywood. Each chute is equipped with a rolling door that is operated from the catwalk position. The front gate swings a full 180 degrees when opened to prevent injury to both contestants and animals. Dimensions are 100″ long x 33″ wide x 72″ tall with a 4′ catwalk on the back of the chute mounted 3′ above the ground.
